Page Burner 10K and 5K Races

4th Annual 10K race over paved roads, gravel roads and some two tracks, scenic rolling country; 5K run race/walk race (kids & strollers included) over flat, paved roads and pathways in Village. Both races starting and ending in the Village at Civic Center South. All runners and walkers timed. Entry fees is the same for both races and includes a race tee shirt, lunch, bottle of water, and entry in raffle. There will be a raffle at end of race before awards are given. There will be a trophy to the over all winner in the men’s and women’s divisions in both races. Metals go to first place, ribbons go to second and third place in each of (11) age groups of the 10K, and (13) age groups of the 5K, men’s and women’s. Kingsley Friends of the Library race organizer to benefit local public Library.

Registration before race begins. Adults: pre-race day - $12.00, day of race - $15.00.
Children 12 and under: pre-race day - $5.00, day of race - $7.00.
Registration is at 8:00 a.m., race starts 9:30 a.m. at the Civic Center South located (7) blocks south of M-113 on Clark Street in Kingsley.

The Village of Kingsley is home to several parks that offer a variety of activities.

Brownson Memorial Park - Is home to the Village “Splash Pad” which serves the visitors with a variety of water spraying devices that are guaranteed to cool anyone down on the hottest of summer days.

Brownson Memorial Park also has tennis courts, serene seating, and a playground area for the kids.

Civic Center South - Civic Center South is a regional park located in the Village of Kingsley that offers it all. The park offers baseball/softball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, basketball courts; children play ground, an archery range, a walking trail, full service pavilion which can be reserved, and an 18 hole disc golf course. The Civic Center South truly offers something for everyone.

Civic Center South has the George and Polly Drew as the caretakers from May through October.

The Grove Park - This park is under construction and should hopefully be operational by summer 2008.
