Library and Village Office Open House
Please join your friends and neighbors at the new Library and Village Office open house June 20th from 11:00am to 3:00pm. It is a Luau theme with a hog roast and entertainment for the whole family including the Kingsley Jazz Prism, Clowns and tours.
Community Wide Garage Sale
The Kingsley garage sale will be held Saturday June 27th. Each garage sale merchant will be setting their own hours of operation.
Heritage Days
Heritage Days will take place July 18th and 19th 2009. This year’s festivities will include the Parade at 10:00am on Saturday July 18th, delicious concessions available, co-ed softball tournament, youth basketball tournament and a whole lot more including craft sale, raffle, silent auction and face painting. This year will include more rides for the family and at a discounted price. For $5 a wristband can be purchased that will provide unlimited use of the rides on Saturday! Email kvmanager@villageofkingsley.com for a registration form for 3 on 3 basketball or print the following information and submit it to the Heritage Days Committee.
At 10am there will be an opportunity to meet the Author of The Adventures of Anderson Data, Arlen Curtis Matson at the Kingsley Branch Library. The book is set during WW2 and takes you along on the adventures of childhood friends in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.
