Most meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of each month and begin at 6:00 pm, with the exception of the November meeting, whis is held on the 3rd Wednesday due to Thanksgiving, and there is no meeting in December. Some meetings may need to be rescheduled and will be posted accordingly. All meetings are held in the Village Community Room.
Village of Kingsley Planning Commission Authority and Jurisdiction:
The Village Planning Commission derives its authority from the Municipal Planning Act, P.A, 33 of 2008, as amended, and the Village of Kingsley Council Resolution which established the Village of Kingsley Planning Commission which consists of seven members, to be appointed by the Village Council. The Municipal Planning Act provides for city, village and municipal planning, the creation, organization, powers and duties of planning commissions; the regulation and subdivision of land; and to provide penalties for violation of the provisions of this act.
